    Description

    Responsibilities

  • To efficiently answer internal and external telephone calls. Screening, transferring calls and taking messages where necessary.
  • Actioning both external and internal email enquiries as appropriate.
  • Maintain and update internal contact records.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, including sending documents via FedEx.
  • Control access to the visitor's car park and goods in car park via the video intercom system and direct as necessary.
  • Issue security passes and log all internal security system.
  • Meet and greet visitors to site.
  • Booking hot offices and meeting rooms on request
  • Assisting the organisation and running of onsite events
  • Update and grow the staff intranet page which advertises local offers to 650+ employees
  • Supporting visiting employees, trainees and customers with taxi requirements and other ad-hoc requests including restaurant bookings and providing local information.
  • Setting up and manning registration desk for external groups of visitors, liaising with organisers, facilities, and restaurant staff.
  • Keeping inventory of stationery and refreshments and raising PR's to reorder when required.
  • Book taxis on taxi booking system.
  • General administrative support as required.
  • Carrying-out end of day procedures.
  • To carry out any reasonable task associated to achieving Waters Wilmslow objectives
  • Qualifications

    Education:

    Educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent with substantial experience in a similar role

    Experience:

  • Reception, Customer Service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS office (MS Outlook, MS Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Flexibility in working practices
  • Competencies:

  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
  • Experience working in an administrative environment implementing and following policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively under pressure is essential.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Be personable and professional in dealing with callers and visitors.
