Area - Reading - Basingstoke

A Field-Based Charger Technician sought for a Bristol based manufacturer who are experiencing on-going growth and success within their markets.

The main responsibility of the role will be to organise and complete maintenance based activities on battery chargers across the UK. You will also supply replacements where necessary and complete relevant documentation. You will need to communicate with customer sites to obtain asset requirements and maintain asset management.

The Role:

Travel to customer sites across the UK to organise and complete maintenance of battery chargers and supply replacements where necessary

Complete relevant documentation

Liaise with customer sites to understand and obtain asset requirements and maintain asset management

Conduct quality assessments and report any issues

Plan and organise sales visits to existing and prospective customers

Provide technical support to colleagues and undertake other tasks where required

The Person:

Experience with or understanding of batteries e.g. SLA, NiCd, Plante

Experience with electrical/ electronic fault finding
