    Description

    Our client is a manufacturing facility and logistics office providing ongoing service and maintenance of their niche mechanical products across the UK.

    They are currently recruiting due to retirement and expansion

    2x Field Service Engineers, one to cover the NW area and one to cover the SW area of the UK

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of specialist Vehicle Recovery Equipment.
    • Starting from home, you will carry out your list of jobs, you will be paid from leaving your house until you get back home.
    Experience, Skills & Requirements:
    • Organized individual that can work to plan and under time pressures.
    • Flexible working hours – Essential.
    • Self-motivated.
    • Good communicator, both written and oral.
    • Team orientated.
    • Customer service and relations.
    • Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic experience – Essential
    • Overnight stays are required around the country.
    • Logical Thinking.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Planning and organizing skills.
    • Being professional and respectful.
    • Full driving license required. (21 or older due to insurance purposes).
    Your role within the company:
    • Repair, maintenance & service as outlined by the company.
    • Fault diagnosis.
    • Liaise with company in Jobs/route planning.
    • Ensure company health and safety standards are adhered to.
    • Communicate with customers on a daily basis.
    • Ensure vehicle is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
    • Maintain a professional approach in all aspects of the role, including appearance, paperwork and vehicle safety.
    • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and instructions.
    • Stock control on vehicle to meet planned jobs.
    Benefits:
    • 23 Days holiday (plus statutory public bank holidays), raising to 25 days after 12 months service.
    • Overtime currently at 1.5x base salary.
    • On –the-job training will be provided.
    • Company pension scheme is available (after successful completion of 3 months probationary period).

    Working Routine:

    37.5 hours Monday – Friday – Working hours – Driving time to and from job is additional hours and is paid @ standard rate.

    (some weekend work may be required in extreme circumstances)

    Job type: Full time.

    Salary & benefits: £12.30-£14.35 per hour pending experience, company pension
