Lucid Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an international company that work within a wide range of industries including aerospace, defense, automotive, power generation, oil & gas, construction, machine building medical and transportationand is a vital link in the manufacturing supply chain, employing over 5,700 people in 26 countries.
We are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner who will be working as part of the European HR team.
This is a true business partner role which willrequire someone with a 'sleeves up' attitude and who really wants to be a part of divisional management teams.
The role holder will work to ensure that value is driven from the investment we make in our people through effective recruitment, managing talentand building a preferred employer reputation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Offer operational advise for HR best practices, employment law, labour relations and employment policies while providing proactive and practical options and solutions
- Promote continuous improvement of our employment practices through building a detailed knowledge of our operations and close working relationships with its leaders
- Coach managers to build solid, effective employee relationships by offering guidance and support on performance issues
- Ensure Bodycote has the right people in the right place at the right time, doing the right things, through effective recruitment, development and management of teams as well as advising managers on optimal structures
- Contribute to establish and maintain a workforce succession plan that aligns with business needs and attracts and retains staff and fosters career and performance development opportunities
- Involvement in different kind of HR projects in close cooperation HR leadership
- Build close relationships with employees at all levels ensuring that we understand and listen to how our employees are feeling and can respond to engagement concerns
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with all levels of staff
Experience:
- 25 years HR partnering experience.
- Experience working with remote sites and teams
- Experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment advantageous
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong technical Human Resources expertise including indepth knowledge & understanding of HR work on the ground
- Strong in relationship building and collaboration with all levels of staff, external services providers and employee representatives
- Good organizational, time and project management skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
