05 p/h PAYE / £35.Term: 12 Month contract likely to extend
As a proving test and validation engineer working on global engine development, involved in a variety of engine installation and test projects into off-highway machines and generator sets.
Adhere to the Organisations health and safety policy and safe working practices.
Effectively manage several projects simultaneously.
Operate a multitude of different off-highway vehicles including but not limited to, Hydraulic Excavators, Back-hoe Loaders, Telehandlers, Track Type Tractors.
Work from engineering drawings (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic)Produce electrical looms to interface engine and machine.
Travel to various off site test and development facilities (some overseas).
Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe Skills, experience & qualifications:
Engineering qualification preferably electrical or mechanical
High level of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic aptitude
Have a fully flexible approach to the job role & responsibilities.
Good PC skills, ability to use Microsoft Office and designed software.
Good machine/engine hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic/problem solving skills.
