Job Purpose

The financial misselling team specialize in handling matters within PCP, UDC, Missold mortgages, Diesel Emissions and PPI/Plevin claims.
The role of the Undisclosed Team Leader will involve passionately managing a team of Fee Earners & case handlers in an appropriate and proactive manner.
Guiding, coaching, and developing team members in their growth and pursuit of continuous improvement.
Ensuring case handlers continue to operate in full compliance with uptodate process awareness.
Regularly assess team and individual progress, conducting due diligence on files to maintain standards.
Assist team members where there maybe complexities with a particular client matter.
Conduct reviews often with members of the team to ensure they can raise and discuss any requirements or concerns. Positively motivating and supporting where needed.
Keeping track of payments and costs ensuring deadlines are met and transactions are completed smoothly.
Liaise and report into the Practice Manager where you may require support on particular matters.
Act appropriately in conducting disciplinary processes inline with company policies.
Ensure duties are being executed in compliance with legal guideline with mínimal risk.

Competency Requirements

Leadership
Experience managing and developing a team of file handlers/paralegals and Solicitors.
Handling your own case load of PCP/ UDC claims from pre litigation to litigation
Establishing if the client has suffered a financial loss and if a claim can be made.
Drafting of Letters of Claims, Pre Action-Applications and advice letters to clients.
Calculating Damages
Drafting proceedings
Ability to handle clients and communication to a high standard
IT literate, proficient user of case management systems and reporting systems.

Skills & Qualifications

University qualifications required to be considered for the position
Previous experience managing a team of litigators/paralegals/file handlers with a focus on Undisclosed commissions or Financial Misselling
Strong case management experience (Proclaim or Zoho would be desirable)
Experience coaching, developing, and managing a busy team
Excellent Financial Misselling process and legal knowledge.
