    Business Systems Manager

    Nottingham (Hybrid)

    40-60k

    Role purpose and summary

    As Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for all the systems within the business, including building and maintaining the future systems roadmap, which will be developed in partnership with the whole Senior Leadership Team.

    You will also be a key part of the existing ERP replacement project that is just starting, using your existing ERP and solution delivery knowledge to help build and deliver the requirements of the business's solution. This will include all areas of the project delivery, such as testing and change management.

    You will own the relationships with all the key solution providers / developers, ensuring that they are driving both excellent customer satisfaction and solutions that enable the business to drive forward.

    Whilst this is not a technical development / programming role, any experience of development within an ERP solution would be an advantage.

    Areas of responsibility

    • Own and mature the business systems within company.
    • Build an overall integrated solution within business.
    • Own both the solution and data architecture.
    • Maintain and mature an ongoing solutions roadmap for the next 3 years.
    • Build and maintain an Exec level steering group, focused on agreement and prioritisation of system projects.
    • Help to build an excellent internal IT service, focused on excellent customer satisfaction and cost-effective delivery.
    • Full ownership of all the IT focused system processes, including continuous improvement.
    • Drive the culture of customer excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
    • Managing customer flow to ensure proficient customer service.
    • Assisting with developing and implementing service policies and explaining these to staff.
    • Performing additional duties where needed.

    Person specification

    • High level of communication, management and team building skills
    • Excellent project management and ERP / System skills (Any Odoo experience would be significant)
    • Ability to analyse, understand and effectively communicate between business requirements, technical design and implementation.
    • Problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills to guide management, as well as internal and external partners.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, effective in matrix management and team building.
    • Works well with others in an integrated team / project environment
