Our client an international removal company are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for their team based in Hertfordshire.


As the Accounts Payable Assistant, your role will be to handle all the accounts payable activities, preparing all payments to suppliers (using BACS) and processing and recording supplier invoices.


Other duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant:

  • Maintaining regular communication with Brands that the projects relate to
  • Going over statements with supplier accounts, making any adjustments where necessary
  • Correctly managing all recharges
  • Undertaking any other duties as requested by Management


On a day-to-day basis, you will be liaising with suppliers in order to resolve any queries, so having exceptional communication skills - both verbally and in writing is a good attribute for this role.


The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will essentially have a minimum of 1 years' accounts payable experience, and strong data entry skills.


Experience required:


  • Previous experience using database system
  • Qualified in AAT or ACCA (or can be working towards)
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Full UK drivers' licence
