Senior Software Engineer (Python/React/AWS) - ClimateTech - £80k + Generous Equity - Decarbonising Industrial Supply Chains - Office based in Clerkenwell

Venchr is delighted to have partnered with one of Europe's most exciting & bright Climate-Tech Start-Ups, backed by a world-leading Climate VC The goal is to influence the choices of the world's largest pollution emitters.

This analytics platform is set to have a significant impact on reducing global emissions. You'll be working alongside two incredible founders - transforming our MVP into a production-ready platform that can be deployed at scale for our customers around the world.

You'll effectively be our Founding Engineer, so naturally you'll have plenty of ownership & technical responsibility.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Elevate our software from inception to innovation. Collaborating closely with our CTO, your task is to refine our initial prototype into a secure, reliable software solution ready for deployment in rigorous enterprise settings.
• Solve intricate technical problems. Our solutions need to seamlessly connect with various systems related to taxation, trade, and sustainability across diverse European and international companies. Your role involves crafting the necessary infrastructure to manage client data securely and accurately, playing a crucial role in steering our technical strategy.
• Develop solutions for visionary clients. Beyond mere regulatory adherence, we aim to create a comprehensive library of carbon pricing data, offering essential insights to our clients. This empowers them to reduce the carbon footprint of their supply chains effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Full-Stack development
• Proficiency in Python and essential technologies of our stack, including React, Django, Docker, Postgres, and AWS
