    Prestigious International Bank based in the City of London are looking to recruit an IT Support Officer. This is a permanent position, which will be based full time in the office.

    You'll provide day to day IT support to the Bank's employees accessing PCs, applications and banking systems either via the desktop or remotely. This includes connecting virtual computers, allocating VMs, maintenance and technical configuration in accordance with training and documented procedures. To maintain up to date relevant procedures and policies. Secondly, to provide technical support for the setup of telephones, voice recordings, meeting rooms, laptops, mobile device configuration, printers and scanners. To ensure an up to date register of software, licences, hardware assets and stock consumables for printers.

    As this is first line support, the role will interact with all levels of staff within the Bank (from juniors to C Suite). Therefore, ideally the candidate needs to be comfortable and confident to speak to all users. Not necessarily knowing everything about IT, but with a helpful demeanour that demonstrates to the user that they are being looked after.

    To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills;

    • Higher education/degree in Computer Sciences, Microsoft Certified or equivalent IT qualifications.
    • Approx. 2 years' experience – flexible in terms of sector.
    • Experience in MS Office, including Windows (2020, 2011) and Windows (2012, 2016 and Azure Cloud).
    • Be familiar with various user end business applications support, maintenance and installations.
    • Understanding of virtual environments, VMware Horizon and VID.
    • Understanding telecoms systems (Mitel), home working solutions, MFA.
    • Understanding of MS exchange server and active directory.
    • Capability to assist with hardware / software builds.
    • Experience with trouble shooting and service desk.
    • Good communication skills, excellent written and verbal skills.
    • Orientated towards providing excellent customer service, with a helpful demeanour.
