Description

As a Skilled Operator, you're an important member of our Production team at the Cannington site, supporting the production and delivery of fantastic products to our customers.

Whilst ensuring a safe working area, you'll carry out key operational tasks, including operating equipment whilst following procedures / instructions.

You'll support the delivery of daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and targets, ensuring high levels of efficiency and food safety standards.

This Role is a nights base role on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working the hours of

Your responsibilities:

Effective operation of equipment to support the delivery of highquality of products.
Nightly cleaning and sanitizing of all areas & assets in preparation for the next shift.
Supporting fault finding on equipment to identify and fix the root cause.
Ensuring all equipment is properly cared for, through effective cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
Collaborating with site teams to ensure effective use of raw materials and resources.
Engaging in improvement projects, activities and events aligned to the team and site objectives.
Accurately recording downtime and raw material usage.
Owning specific changeover activities and material replenishment in your area/asset, optimising resources and raw material yield.
Supporting and offering informal guidance to other team members, sharing best practice, supporting their induction and offering advice to support the development of high performing teams.
Demonstrating a commitment to Health & Safety by working in a safe manner, role modelling our safety behaviours, challenging unsafe practices and rectifying unsafe conditions.
Being actively involved and committed to the quality management system, making sure all relevant controls and procedures are completed effectively to validate food safety controls.
Ensure that any product below our standards is identified and the issues are escalated appropriately and resolved.
Adhering to good manufacturing practices and company standards of hygiene, PPE, and dress code.
Practicing a 'Clean as You Go' approach.
