    Description

    The Securities First Line Risk team is responsible for the risk management of RepoClear and EquityClear clearing businesses in addition to the CALM function.

    We are looking for a Quantitative Data Manager to help shaping the future of the Qrisk system, which serves as risk engine and analytics & solutions platform.

    In this role you will work closely with Risk, Product and Specialist managers in order to design, develop and productionise a wide set of applications for risk management purposes.

    Within our team, we have a strong culture of data-driven decision making and analytics. Identifies, prioritises and executes tasks in the software development life cycle
    Contributes to and develops high-quality software design and architecture
    Supports validation and verification testing
    Collaborates with internal teams (including Product Owners / Business) and vendors to fix and improve products
    Mentors the Developers and Senior Developers by providing advice and coaching.


    Data Management:
    Owning the end-to-end datasets by designing, developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for SQL and NoSQL databases.
    Develop data ingestion, data pipelines and integrations processes
    Design, develop and maintain Proprietary Python Modules and Library
    Design, develop and maintain Dashboards for Data Analytics
    R or Python Experience (5+ years) in a commercial / industrial setting
    Advanced knowledge of database management (SQL & NoSQL)
    Python development on IDE frameworks (aka they know how to debug properly) to build PRODUCTION code.
    Familiar with unit testing frameworks
    Familiar in range of data techniques: manipulation, visualisation, FastAPI, Flask / Django.
    Working with unix systems and version control systems daily
    Experience developing ETL / data integration solutions
    Knowledge of agile methodologies e.g. jira
    Familiarity with DevOPs e.g. Knowledge of one front-end framework (React, Handlebars, Vue)
