The Growth Company's (GC) Education and Skills team are looking for an Employability Tutor who will develop, promote, deliver, and assess training to maximise learning outcomes for learners.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver classroom based / accredited qualification entry 3 and level 1 to unemployed adults (learners) of up to 1215 people
  • Carry out initial and ongoing assessment to ensure students are on the right programme and receiving the right level of support
  • Where appropriate, prepare learners to successfully undertake assignments or sit tests/exams to maintain high success rates
  • Mark/assess students' work, provide structured feedback and set development objectives for learners

  • Ability to plan and organise workload effectively
  • IT skills including the ability to use technology

Skills Required:


  • Must hold teaching qualification
  • At least PTLLS Level 3 (Essential)
  • IAG Level / Qualification or willingness to undertake training (Preferable)
  • Full UK Drivers Licence or able to travel across Greater Manchester
  • Experience of working in employability is an advantage


It is expected that this role will work with young people therefore the post holder has responsibilities to safeguard our client group.
