The department of the Vice President External Engagement coordinates UCL's engagement with a range of audiences, raising the university's profile and influence, and managing its reputation.
It is a service-driven function made up of communications and marketing professionals who deliver sector-leading media relations, public affairs, institutional communications, brand and integrated marketing, student recruitment, and events.
About the role:
This role is available as a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract or as a 12-month secondment for internal UCL staff.
About you:
Storytelling will be a large part of this role, and applicants should have a good understanding of how campaigns can be used to convey an organisation or brand' mission and values to a variety of different audiences.
Strong organisational skills are essential and ideally, you will have some experience in project management, whether from managing your own projects as part of a previous role, or in supporting a manager or senior colleague to deliver.
Finally, you are an excellent communicator who is able to tailor content effectively to different formats and audiences. And a real collaborator with a proven track record in successful partnership working with a variety of stakeholders.What we offer:
