    Job description

    Smart Environmental Support Services, a leading recruiter in the waste and recycling sector, are currently recruiting for a LGV 2 driver to join our successful client based in Oxted, RH8 area area. Our client is a leader in waste and resource management, providing services to residents and businesses in the UK.

    Pay: £15.50ph

    Shift patterns: Tuesday to Friday: 6am to 3pm

    Requirements:

    • No more than 6 points on license for minor offences (no DR code)
    • At least 1 year experience driving class 2 vehicles
    • Full CPC
    • UK License
    • Good level of spoken English

    Full training & uniform provided

    Become part of our Waste Collections team as an HGV Class 2 Driver in Oxted and help us with the collection of waste bins from customer premises and join one of the biggest Waste Recycling companies in the UK. We offer immediate starts with no experience needed.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Due to an increased demand there is ongoing work available with an immediate start.

    Responsibilities:

    To assist loaders in residential waste collection, driving the dustcart. The job is predominantly driving however during busy periods the driver would be expected to get out of the vehicle and provide help to his crew.

    Working with waste previously will be good, but company will provide full training

    Opportunities for overtime, and additional qualifications can also be provided for a candidate with the right can-do attitude.
