- Managing and coordinating transportation schedules
- Prepare driver paperwork.
- Work closely with production to ensure the timely movement of materials between sites.
- Liaise with and assist the Senior Transport Coordinator to cost effectively arrange additional transport by approved hauliers.
- Brief and debrief drivers accurately.
- Maintaining accurate records, and producing reports
- Communicating effectively with drivers and other team members
- Ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards
- Undertake duties and responsibilities, may be asked to perform other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the position and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
