    Position: Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

    Branch Location: Bishop's Stortford

    Hours per Week / Shift Pattern: 40.3 hours long days and nights/weekends

    Flexible shift pattern to ensure comprehensive coverage

    Salary: The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £35,000, with consideration for the absolute maximum based on experience and skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assisting veterinarians during medical procedures and surgeries.
    • Administering medications and treatments to animals under veterinary supervision.
    • Monitoring the health and well-being of animals before, during, and after procedures.
    • Providing compassionate care and support to animals and their owners.
    • Conducting diagnostic tests and assisting with laboratory procedures.
    • Maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation.
    • Educating pet owners on topics such as preventive care and treatment plans.
    • Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the veterinary clinic or hospital.
    • Participating in ongoing professional development and training.
    • Supporting the veterinary team in various clinical and administrative tasks.
    Candidate Requirements:
    • Newly qualified RVNs should have experience in emergency/out-of-hours situations during their training.
    • If not newly qualified, a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience as an RVN is required.
