To improve the lives of people with mental ill health minimising the impact of their condition through the delivery of excellent services to promote recovery and wellbeing.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a clinical lead nurse on a functional inpatient setting for mental health services for older people.

You will be part of the nursing leadership team for the ward, manage shifts, provide supervision and work as an advocate for the patients within the MDT.

This is an opportunity for experienced clinicians to join a busy team working in an inpatient environment, within Mental Health Services for Older People.

The vacancies are on Wold View Ward working with older adults with dementia and other cognitive impairments.

You will be required to have strong skills in the management of care planning and risk management, coordinate and plan care for those with complex needs and work within a team making decisions based on comprehensive mental health.

You will be required to be innovative, flexible and able to engage clients with complex needs.

Strong team working principles are essential and you will network with a variety of people as well as work in partnership with a range of different agencies both internal and external.

Current professional registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Minimum of 12 months experience post completion of preceptorship experience working with people with mental ill health, Autism or Learning Disability in a care environment
Quality improvement activities

Provide effective clinical supervision, teaching, training and assessing in clinical practice
Demonstrate recovery focussed practice

Experience of working within a range of services, including inpatient and community settings
Specialist knowledge of working within a multidisciplinary/multi-agency community team setting
