    Senior Litigation /Regulatory Lawyer

    North East

    Flexible working

    £55-60 p/hr

    Sellick Partnership are working with a vibrant and friendly public sector organisation in the North East who are looking for an experienced Litigation/ Regulatory Lawyer to join them on a locum basis. This will be an initial 6 month contract, and the organisation are able to offer flexibility with remote working.

    This will be an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge within the public sector. The work will be hugely varied, and you will be a part of a well-established team

    The duties of the successful Senior Litigation/ Regulatory Lawyer will include;

    • Provide advice in relation to prosecution, civil litigation and common law matters
    • Dealing with licensing matters
    • Deputise for the Head of Legal Services
    • Supervise and provide advice to junior members in the team
    • Attending ad-hoc meetings and committees

    Experience required for the Senior Litigation/Regulatory Lawyer role;

    Our client is open to hearing from candidates from either a public sector or private practice background. This will be full time role, however part time hours may be considered. You must be a Solicitor or Cilex qualified for this post.
