Do you have extensive Claims Handler knowledge and experience?


The key purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of complex claims for a specific line of business including coverage analysis, investigation and evaluation of policy liability & legal liability.

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate settlement of claims to bring them to a successful conclusion. This may involve policy holders, insurers, loss adjusters, brokers, solicitors and other third parties.

Self-management of own caseload to ensure prompt settlement of files.

Develop and maintain client relationships and look after key accounts.

Act as part of a team to ensure both Team and individual goals are met

Work with third party service providers to ensure claims service standards are maintained

Represent Chubb at internal and external meetings including review meetings with brokers, key clients and London market representatives

Act as a technical resource and provide guidance on the claims assessment process to junior colleagues.

Mentoring, training and coaching junior colleagues where relevant


Qualifications:


Requirements & Experience:

ACII qualification advantageous but not essential

Previous end to end claim handling experience

Considerable market experience.

Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of specialist product line, the insurance market and competitors

Solid experience in dealing with brokers and clients.

Ability to make own decisions and work on own initiative.
