Salesforce Commerce Cloud Specialist

At Nature's Menu we're looking for a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Specialist to lead the technical aspects of our e-commerce platform.

This is a permanent and hybrid working role with 1-2 days per week at our central London co-working space.

To reach a diverse community of pets and pet owners, we have created an innovative Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) team to focus on bringing our products and expertise in pet wellbeing online.


Our team
Our team is leading a groundbreaking D2C e-commerce project to shake up the pet food industry. We have big ambitions. When you join our team you have the opportunity to make an impact from your first 30 days. You'll be working with, and learning from commercially-experienced D2C experts and our international Affinity Petcare community.


What you'll do

Reporting into the Head of E-commerce, this is a unique opportunity to play a role in shaping our customer support and ecommerce operations as we grow rapidly over the next 3 years.


Platform Management & Optimisation:

  • Oversee the management and optimisation of the SFCC platform.
  • Implement and manage site updates, product launches, and promotions.
  • Monitor site performance, resolve issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance organic search visibility.

Ecommerce Merchandising:

  • Create, configure, and manage promotions using SFCC Business Manager.
  • Define and manage customer groups for targeted experiences.
  • Manage product catalogues, categories, attributes, and ensure data accuracy.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of promotions, targeting, and site performance.
  • Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and provide insights for optimisation.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

Content Management:

  • Update and manage content across the platform, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Optimise content for search engines and implement SEO best practices.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience in customer support and web operations roles within ecommerce, specifically on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform capabilities and configurations.
  • Ability to handle customer queries and coordinate emergency responses on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, promotions, and audience segmentation.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, derive insights, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Customercentric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of SAP or other relevant ecommerce platforms.
  • Desirable: Understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Desirable: Familiarity with SEO principles and experience in implementing SEO improvements.
