- Managing the service levels and business results of the Applications Solutions Operation on behalf of EMEA to support dealer sales, Major Accounts sales, Industry Management and Application Centre activity.
- Fully supporting the strategic initiative to enhance understanding of customer needs at the product level in order to create and provide a full range of differentiated products and develop service solutions for specific industry applications.
- Working with Product Managers and engineering to rectify product gaps through SPED solutions.
- Recommending and giving technical input into the development of new standard products to ensure their suitability for specialised applications and for their easy and cost-effective customization.
- Maintenance and development of Application Solutions processes
- Minimum BS in Engineering. MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in the fields of Product Development and Business Management in Materials Handing or related field.
- Significant lift truck design, development and application experience. Strong Industry knowledge from customer interface and application visits. Networking with Sales and Marketing, competitive landscaping
- Experience in sales of industrial products, networking, customer visits, also business content from degree qualifications
- Experience and training especially in technical and business systems used in the Application Solutions process.
- Experience in people management
