    Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit - Bath Salary - Up to £35,000 per annum (not inclusive of £3,000 Bonus) - Full-Time - Private HospitalAre you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse seeking an enriching career opportunity in Bath? Look no further Our prestigious Private Hospital is actively seeking a qualified nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in the Day Surgery Unit.

    As a Day Surgery Unit Nurse, you will play a vital role in clinical triage, patient care evaluation, nurse-led clinics, examinations and tests, treatment organization, and seamless referrals to other healthcare professionals.

    Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit Qualifications and Qualities:


    • Establish annual personal objectives and craft a development plan.
    • Collaborate with the Lead Nurse to address training and development needs.
    • Stay updated through clinical supervision models.
    • Comply with NMC Code of Professional Conduct and registration requirements if applicable.
    • Enhance clinical knowledge and professional skills through relevant training.

    Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit Responsibilities:

    • Deliver exceptional nursing care across diverse care settings.
    • Ensure meticulous preparation and sterilization of clinic rooms, instruments, and equipment.
    • Maintain precise and timely patient records.
    • Mentor and document the progress of students, learners, junior nurses, and Health Care Assistants.
    • Engage in teaching activities within your specialized area.
    • Prioritize and manage tasks under the guidance of the Lead Nurse or unit nursing lead.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication channels.
    • Serve as a specialist/link person following relevant training in your area of expertise.
    • Develop patient pathways to ensure both physical and psychological preparedness for procedures.
    • Provide detailed information to patients about planned procedures and obtain their consent.
    • Deliver patient care grounded in established research and evidence-based clinical practices.
    • Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
    • Apply a holistic, patient-centered care approach tailored to individual clinical needs.
    • Adapt to flexible rosters to efficiently meet patient needs.
