With two Emergency Departments across Gloucestershire this Matron will lead nursing to continually strive and improve care for our patients' experience and outcomes.


The Matron for Emergency Departments is an exciting role within a dynamic working environment and works closely with the Deputy Divisional Director of Quality & Nursing for Unscheduled Care and the wider ED team and Trust Matron Team.

This post can also be taken as a secondment and is a great development opportunity, with mentoring and support from partner trusts also available.


The Matron would join the team at an exciting time as we start estates works to expand our ED dept.

at GRH as well as going live with Electronic Patient Records (EPR) across both sites.

The Matron will be at the heart of these significant developments while bringing a truly professional and advanced and modern approach to Nursing.
