This newly created role provides the unique chance to establish a new knowledge function, aiding the UK tax team in enhancing and broadening their technical expertise, while also staying ahead of industry developments for their clients.

The team is operating at the top of its game, and is well-supported in terms of instructions coming from their global network. Significant growth is planned over the next 24 months, and this is a sensational time to join a team with a distinct and very team-centric culture.

    Key Responsibilities will include:

    Knowledge Management:

    • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive repository of precedent documents and template advice.
    • Staying abreast of UK tax legislation and case law, ensuring the team is informed of any changes.

    Team Support and Training:

    • Developing and implementing a robust training program for the team.
    • Keeping the team updated on legal trends, market developments, and industry-specific issues.

    Client Engagement:

    • Supporting the creation of pitches and presentations.
    • Delivering specialised training and knowledge services to key clients.

    Operational Support:

    • Drafting and updating guidance notes for the team.
    • Addressing ad-hoc queries to support ongoing legal operations.

To be considered for this role you will have:

    • Strong academics and a high level of intellectual rigour.
    • Training and most likely more than 6 years' post-qualification experience gained within a strong tax practice at a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, City, US or international firm in London (PSL experience desirable, but a senior fee earner with appropriate background might also be considered).
    • A common sense, down-to-earth approach.
    • Commerciality, sound judgment, and the ability to work in a sometimes fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.
    • The gravitas and ability to deal with clients and colleagues in a relaxed and confident manner.

This is a premium opportunity to join a market leading law firm, and will attract an exceptional salary.
