    Description

    Moog Aerospace & Defense (A&D) , which includes our Aircraft Group and Space and Defense Group, has embarked on an exciting ERP transformation journey that will take us from our legacy, custom ERP system to an SAP S/4HANA solution set.

    This will be a multi-year project, and this role will be working in the A&D Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team performing testing, leading the successful deployment of the MES system, across the A&D sites.

    This role requires significant communication, and influencing skills for collaboration and teamwork across Moog, especially with our Engineering and IT teams in addition to our global A&D facilities.

    You will be responsible for the identification, design and implementation of Solumina MES.

    Create and maintain good working relationships with the software provider/integration partners and larger ERP project team, with the ability to make decisions and escalate issues proactively to the Business Process Owners (BPO's).

    You will be responsible for analyzing and understanding business needs from an end-to-end perspective taking into account MES, SAP ERP, PLM and other supporting IT systems, to ensure that efficient business processes are implemented and a digital thread established.

    You will support unit, functional and system integration testing of SAP / Solumina applications including key Operational Technology. This will include validating the template configuration meets all known site requirements.

    Together with the Business Adoption team, support with the facilitation of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user training sessions to ensure that the end users are prepared for deployment and any remaining gaps in functionality are identified.

    Lead with ME/PE/Operational Execution business readiness activities in preparation for formal Go-Live and ensure it is successfully stabilized following deployment.

    Support the Continuous improvement of Moog's A&D Manufacturing Template against industry best practice/business feedback and assist in reviewing/testing functionality gained from software's updates.

    Typically, a Bachelor's Degree desirable or equivalent; Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
    Autocrib/NX CAD/PLM/DNC/i-Win/QDAS/TIP QA/MBS/PCAS/Autotime).
    Project Planning and Management experience desirable
