Trinity House Group are excited to be exclusively supporting a brand name manufacturing business based in South Staffordshire to recruit a talented Commercial Finance Business Partner.

This role reports directly to a highly experienced Head of Finance whohas a track record of developing their team(s) for progression, you'll also gain exposure to an impressive CFO.


This role is an excellent career progression route for a newly qualified accountant who is looking to move away from the day-to-day accounts and focus on commercial value add activity.

You will need strong analytical skill and the ability to business partnerstakeholders throughout the business to maximise profits by identifying opportunities and enabling the business to make the best-informed commercial decisions.


The role:

  • Delivering Weekly/Monthly Reports, Forecasting (EYE & Rolling Forecast) & Budgeting process
  • Oversee the overheads for Commercial and Marketing departments
  • Provide weekly and monthly analysis to commercial team. Consisting of sales and margin performance variances with insight into the biggest contributors
  • Compilation of scenario cost database & support for existing products for the commercial team
  • Promote continual improvement ensuring the operation is as lean as possible
  • Ensure all data in ERP is succinct and accurate
  • Manage the commercial conditions process internally and externally with customers
  • Any further duties/projects which impact the Commercial or Business Finance functions

You will be / have:

  • The ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and allround exceptional system skills
  • A highly effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA with industry experience)
  • Must demonstrate an ability to integrate and work closely with nonfinance counterparts
  • Proactive selfstarter and results orientated.
  • Have an attention to detail that improves forecast integrity, balanced with the ability to see the full financial plan and to be able to articulate the business strategy.
  • Embraces change and enjoys the challenge of working in a fastpaced environment.

Package:
- £45,000 pa - £55,000
