Description

An exciting 12-months fixed-term Assistant Psychologist role has become available in our innovative and 'outstanding' (CQC rated) forensic directorate; this post will be based in the mainstream low-secure inpatient part of the service.

The directorate covers forensic mental health provisions across East London.

The posts will provide significant opportunities for clinical work under the supervision of HCPC registered psychologists.

The post holders would become part of a wider psychology department with excellent support and CPD opportunities.

The posts would particularly suit applicants with significant existing clinical experience, especially in a comparable clinical environment.

This Assistant Psychologist (AP) role is suited to people
opportunities to develop skills in psychometric assessment, evaluation of intervention outcomes, and consultation with multidisciplinary staff teams. The post holders will work autonomously day-to-day but all work will be under the clinical supervision of a qualified Clinical/ Counselling/ Forensic Psychologist
