    Job summary

    The Medicine Directorate have a part time opportunity available for a person with the appropriate skills and experience to join our friendly, fast paced and proactive Cardiology Team.

    You will have excellent communication skills, being able to display tact and diplomacy where appropriate. You will have a flexible approach to working within the team and respond effectively to enquiries from the general public, service users and other colleagues.

    The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, an experienced typist and have GCSE English and Maths grade C and above or equivalent as well as audio typing and word processing skills equivalent to RSA level 3.

    Main duties of the job

    We are looking to recruit a part time secretary for the Cardiology Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists and wider team. You will be responsible for providing an effective and well-organised administrative service and for meeting the changing priorities within the department.
