Skills and experience required:


  • Analogue circuit design
  • Digital circuit design
  • PCB design and schematic capture
  • Altium desired

  • Microchip PIC desired

The Role:

A new position has now been created for an Electronics Engineer to join a small engineering team working towards the design and development of industry leading measurement and monitoring products for the oil and gas industry.

Theyare British owned and design, develop, test and manufacture all their products in their purpose-built facilities in Basingstoke.


The successful Electronics Engineers focus will be the design and development of a range of new products, working closely with likeminded engineers in a multidiscipline engineering team and maintaining and updating existing products.

You will be expectedto contribute from initial concept through to in house testing and manufacture and will have the chance to see products you have designed come to fruition.

You will be an experienced Electronic Engineer who is comfortable with analogue and digital circuitdesign, schematic capture (Altium desired) and have some experience with Microcontroller design (Microchip PIC desired) Whilst any embedded programming, FPGA or VHDL technology will make your CV standout.


Working as part of a small team you can expect plenty of variety and challenges in your role and should expect daily tasks to include circuit design, collaborating with other engineers, prototyping, debugging, liaising with customers and ensuring productsmeet the applicable regulations.


Desirable skills and experience:


  • Embedded C programming
  • FPGA or VHDL design
