About the Role


We are looking for the right person to join our cross-functional Business Operations team as Salesforce CPQ Administrator / Consultant.

Our team aims to proactively support the Global Revenue objectives of the business by ensuring the people, processes, and technology is in place to ensure teams can perform their roles effectively.


As a CPQ consultant, reporting to the Director of Systems and Processes, you will be responsible for optimising our salesforce CPQ implementation.

We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of the existing CPQ solution, get a broad understanding of all business requirements supported and be integral to the solutions development, adoption, and success going forward.


Success in the role requires a team player approach, ability to deal with demanding internal stakeholders, and to take a step back to ensure solutions meet the needs and requirements of the whole system.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Obtain a broad understanding of all business processes, products, and pricing models supported by salesforce CPQ
  • Maintain and support existing salesforce CPQ implementation, including staying up to date with new features and releases
  • Translate highlevel initiatives, bugs and features from the CPQ program backlog into user stories and success criteria.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement salesforce CPQ solutions with the end user at the centre of your design while still taking into consideration the existing setup and change management
  • Triage and prioritise incoming salesforce CPQ requests using Asana (Project management tool) and project plan delivery
  • Work with pricing committee to support the development of new pricing methodologies and feasible salesforce CPQ solutions
  • Partner with Marketing to refine and improve quote templates, prior to creating or updating quote templates based on requirements (potentially working with a 3rd party as some code may need updating)
  • Support integration and data flow between salesforce CPQ and other systems such as Netsuite (Billing), and contract management / esignature systems such as Docusign
  • Provide documentation such as solution architecture documentation, how to guides/videos, presentations, and resources to support new releases, including contributing to enablement sessions.

Essential:


  • Demonstrable experience as a salesforce CPQ administrator in a B2B organisation
  • Demonstrated handson configuration experience of salesforce CPQ features including Product and Pricing Rules, Pricing methods and out of the box functionality
  • Strong understanding of CPQ functionality including Contract and Subscription Management, Amendments, Renewals
  • Strong Salesforce Administrator experience, orgwide defaults, sharing sets, sharing rules, custom objects, record types, page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, and automation rules. Proficiency understanding existing and creating flows is essential as well as experience with process builder and workflow rules.
  • Salesforce and Saslesforce CPQ Certified
  • Demonstrated and handson experience in general scoping and project management processes.

  • A problemsolving mindset and curiosity to learn how the existing system works and what changes are required to make improvements.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to refine requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally, in writing, and presentations
  • Proficient in using office suite excel, word, ppt
  • Good excel skills with ability to use formulas, vlookups, and other manipulating data techniques
  • Familiar with agile methodologies
