Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for a
Baby Room Leader to join our Client's nursery. We are seeking someone with nursery experience, as well as a passion for working with babies and young children. This is a fantastic opportunity to takethe next step in your early years career


Duties & Responsibilities of the Room Leader

  • Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children.
  • Inspire outstanding practice and share knowledge and understanding of children's care, learning and development and give support to other team members within their immediate room and within the wider Nursery.
  • Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
  • Work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children learn and develop through play.
  • Possess the highest standards and latest knowledge of practice and serve as an example to the other practitioners within the setting.
  • Support new team members through inductions and in partnership with the management team.
  • Feed into appraisals, settings targets, and Nursery operations.
  • Support team members to seek out any training or support they may require to fulfil their roles and responsibilities.
  • To have a knowledge of and adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.

Requirements for this role

  • Experience in working with babies and/or leading a baby room (ideally)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about working with babies
  • Caring and responsible
