GSA Operations Technology & Data Systems Associate

Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

As Technology & Data Systems Associate within GSA Operations, you will support the development, testing and implementation of the new CARA platform provided by Generis and manage the long-term capabilities and assist with the identification of further development opportunities.

Also providing support, management and implementation of other GSA operations data and process initiatives. You know how to deliver tangible performance improvements via increased system capabilities.

Your experience and capabilities will help drive improvement, standardisation and achieve stakeholder buy in and ownership to deliver and sustain.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop Manage and, in conjunction with the project team, system validation, testing plans and compliance of the new platform
  • Data cleansing, gathering and manipulation and able to pull multiple sources of data to understand performance of an E2E process
  • Assist in the development and subsequent implementation of the Business and Usual model post Hypercare exit
  • Provide support to GSA operations for other data related activities such as Power BI development, data cleaning activities and other process and data improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings, ensuring the right balance of engagement and pace
  • Gain a deep and thorough understanding of the CARA system with Generis in order to provide maintenance, support and future improvements of the system
  • Assist in planning and delivery of training to end users (post Generis super user training)
  • Support delivery of overall system transformation to new infrastructure and decommissioning of residual platform
  • Coordination of requirement backlog including prioritisation
  • Manage impact assessment process

  • Crossfunctional stakeholder management skills and ability to manage improvement through others

  • Prioritise multiple simultaneous issues while retaining high attention to detail
  • Effective communication with a proactive approach
