About the roleNorth Northamptonshire Adult Social Care is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Officer to join the Financial Assessments Team.
This role will include supporting the Team Leader in the day-to-day operational management of the Financial Assessments Team and when the Team Leader is not availableWhat will you be doing?
You will be working at the forefront of best practice, playing a key role in delivering, managing, monitoring and reviewing the Financial Assessments service for Council's vulnerable adult customers.
As a Senior Finance Officer you will be expected to support the Team Leader to manage and promote a cost effective and efficient operational services for the Financial Assessments Team in order to maximise performance and ensure delivery of internal and external customer satisfaction.
You will need:
- Experience of supervising, coaching and mentoring staff in a finance or customer services environment
- To be able to identify and communicate opportunities to improve current ways of working
- To be articulate and able to communicate in a clear manner and influence all levels of staff including partners and other senior members of staff
- To have strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks while working to deadlines and maintaining a high degree of accuracy and organisation

- We are undertaking consultation with the Trade Unions on terms and conditions and the future NNC pay structure and during this time are appointing new employees on interim spot salaries. You will be advised of the outcome and any impact on your role once this work is complete._
