Year 5Teacher Responsibilities
As aYear 5 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care ofchildren taking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamworkand cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculumto groups of children while also focusing on each individual childslearning targets encouraging their strengths and improving theirweaknesses
Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents
Year 5Teacher Requirements
A qualifiedteacher status (QTS) PGCE or equivalent
Experience in teaching Year 5 students and preparing them for SATsexams
A proven track record of deliveringhighquality lessons and achieving excellent academicresults
A strong understanding of the nationalcurriculum and assessment methodologies
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizationalskills
Patience resilience and a passion forteaching
A willingness to work collaborativelywithcolleagues
