Description

Our client, based in Bournemouth, Dorset, is currently looking to recruit a key member of the finance into a highly commercial role which will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of the group strategy as well as the delivery of organisational objectives.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

Supporting and challenging business managers by providing detailed analysis together with commercial insight and recommendations to influence key decision making;
Producing weekly and monthly, accounts, forecasts and budgets;
Working closely with the senior leadership team and wider business to develop robust long term business plans;
Supporting commercial teams in the setting up and delivery of targets;
Producing accurate and timely updates on trading as well as putting together the monthly management information packs, business KPIs and Business Review Packs;
Delivering insightful analysis of business performance and any underlying trends to continually drive revenue and growth, whilst optimising margin improvements;
Financial modelling, ensuring any major decisions are sufficiently evaluated.
Proven business partnering experience and a track record of supporting other areas of the business alongside finance;
Experience of working in a business that has gone through organisational change;
Systems/process implementation.
