As HMLR's Data Protection Compliance Manager, you will be instrumental in leading a programme of training, awareness, monitoring and reporting activities across the organisation, building upon and further embedding a strong culture of data management andinformation compliance.


Person specification


Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

  • Practitioner certificate (or equivalent) in Data Protection and demonstrable experience of delivering data protection compliance activities in a large organisation.
The personal statement section (in no more than 1,000 words) must be used to provide details of how you meet the essential experience criteria listed below:

  • Knowledge and experience of monitoring organisational compliance including the use of data protection audits.
  • Detailed knowledge of current data protection legislation and associated codes of practice.
  • Experience of developing and delivering training in data protection compliance.
  • Knowledge and experience of monitoring organisational compliance including the use of data protection audits.
