Pastoral Assistant | Greenwich


Create Education are looking to speak with enthusiastic and experienced Pastoral Assistants for some exciting opportunities working with SEN and neurodivergent students in an OFSTED Rated Good specialist SEN Primary School in the London Borough of Greenwich.


The school is a Good Primary School in Greenwich that caters for and works with students between KS1 and KS2 with mixed learning levels and is a fantastic provision for SEN students.

The successful Pastoral Assistant would ideally be experienced with or willing to work with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other kinds of challenging behaviour.

The role will be working 1:1 and small group work with several different students who require some additional attention and assistance with learning and their school day.


The school has a fantastic track record of training and developing staff of all levels and abilities and has a Senior Leadership Team that is well renowned and respected through the borough.

The school has an Outreach team that assists all schools in the borough of Greenwich and the school has a hand in training the majority of staff in the borough in positive handling and de-escalation.


Job Details - Pastoral Assistant - Greenwich

  • Working with neurodivergent SEN needs including SEMH, ASD and ADHD.
  • Working across KS1 and KS
  • ASAP start, Permanent Contract
- £18,000 - £22,500

  • Located in the London borough of Greenwich

Person Specification - Pastoral Assistant - Greenwich

  • Understanding of SEN and Challenging Behaviour
  • Enthusiastic, Reliable and Empathetic
  • Hard working individual and dependable Pastoral Assistant
  • Must be able to work well with a team of Pastoral Assistant and Pastoral Assistant.
