    Financial Analyst -Operational Transfer Pricing, plays a critical role in leading the delivery of our Operational Transfer Pricing (OTP) processes in conjunction with our colleagues in Global Financial Services (GFS) and our internal and external partners. Accountability for OTP sits within Group Tax who own the global execution of AZ transfer pricing policy across hubs and marketing companies. The OTP team are specifically accountable for designing processes to monitor and manage prices and recharges between AZ entities to comply with arm's length transfer pricing requirements, managing global tax risk and compliance. Day-to-day operation of OTP processes is supported by GFS and this role acts as a business partner for the tax team and wider finance organisation.

    You will become an SME with responsibility for the calculation and review of the OTP transfer pricing calculations performed across the team. Working with our GFS, technical teams, and partners to ensure effective integration of OTP processes, data, and reporting between marketing companies, hubs, and supplier legal entities.

    You will report to the Director of OTP and assist them in continuously improving financial data and OTP processes to further develop reporting capability through use of new technologies. Specific areas of focus include segmental P&L by brand, reporting automation, and use of AI in query resolution.

    You will bring an inquiring mind and personable approach to the role with the ability to interact with a wide range of business partners to both coordinate the execution and explain transfer pricing calculations to create real value for the organisation.

    The Financial Analyst -Operational Transfer Pricing is expected to perform at expert level in the following:

    • OTP process execution – Perform & review OTP calculations.
    • Preparation of Segmented P&L by brand – Understand profit & loss by brand reporting.
    • Stakeholder Analysis & Change – Support key relationships in Finance and Operations.
    • Requirements Analysis and Design Definition - Translate new requirements (from policy, business change, continuous improvement) into updated process design and support instruction to IT to implement system change.

    Work collaboratively with

    1. Transfer Pricing team to ensure that OTP solutions aligns with AZ TP policy.
    2. GFS team to coordinate OTP process execution and review across LATAM, APAC, and EMEA
    3. Finance Controllers to support review and approval of financial P&L positions pre and post TP adjustments.
    4. Group Finance teams in the coordination and execution of hub financial statements
    5. Tax reporting in the communication and translation of OTP outputs
    6. IT teams in their execution of system and data preparation, system change, and incident management

    Essential

    • Financial accounting qualification
    • Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems and data – excel required.
    • Experience in working in compliance, reporting, FP&A, business partnering.
    • Strong communication and engagement skills as we operate globally with different skill sets.
    • System development lifecycle – requirements definition, design, testing desirable.
    • Experience of large Global complex organisations
    • Experience of finance systems such as SAP
