As a Barclays Compliance Assurance Data Analytics Manager, you will be joining our Compliance Assurance team, supporting the review teams with the development of test objectives and the execution of Compliance Assurance reviews.

Working Flexibly

What will you be doing?:

Supporting with the planning, scoping, execution and reporting of Assurance tests and reviews utilising data analytics testing techniques
Investigating issues in partnership with other areas of Compliance, in a logic and analytical way
Providing guidance to stakeholders on the remediation of control risks and weaknesses, by participating in discussions and using technical understanding
Proposing action plans to address root causes identified in reviews
Supporting the realisation of the Compliance Assurance Data Analytics team strategy and initiatives
Engaging and collaborating with Compliance colleagues in the development and implementation of strategic systems and processes to improve ways of working
Supporting the team to build the capability to deliver assurance reviews, and sharing good practices on executing assurance work
Exhibiting the Barclays values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence and Stewardship

What we're looking for:

Ability to perform data analytics and profiling on structured and unstructured data
Experience with the data analytics tools and languages used in the team (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python) and with data visualisation software, such as Tableau
Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to all levels of the business

Skills that will help you in the role:

Experience in developing and executing testing and assurance strategies to assess control environment, as part of an IT, audit or risk function
Good understanding of compliance and financial crime regulations, as well as risks, technology systems and solutions
Experience in completing assurance reviews, controls testing and audits to a high standard or with a mínimal supervision
