Job title:
Project Coordinator

Location:
Dunfermline, Aberdeen, Norway or France

Job Purpose:
Project Coordinator will be involved with contract review, order entry, execution with financial management including intercompany coordination.

Member of the Commercial and Project Team, supporting Drilling and Completion, Production Systems and Pressure Control Business Units.

Main Accountabilities:

Ensure smooth transition / handover between the Commercial department and manufacturing facility to ensure timely and accurate start up.
Liaise with internal teams and global vendors to safeguard On-Time Delivery
Required to provide status reports on key tasks (i.e., Delivery Status, Risk Register, Lessons Learned, Variation Order Report, etc.)
Coordinate regional eFNCRs and manage Make Good Requests from a Commercial aspect
Compile proposed execution strategy based on availability of parts and manufacturing site schedules as required
Work with management to consider processes and steps required to meet the demands of the role with a view to continuous improvement and efficiency
May be required to compile quotations in accordance with customer requirements ranging from full tender packages to basic spares quotes and preparation of variation orders within existing projects
May be required to support individual Project Managers / Snr. Project Managers / Quotation Specialists
Responsible for coordination and execution of assigned orders

Key relationships:

Internal

Close interaction with Sales, Quotation s, production, service and engineering teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements
Reports to Execution Manager
Regular contact and proactive follow up with internal departments in various locations to ensure timely delivery and execution

External:

Interaction with customers during Project / Order Kickoff and periodically throughout the delivery phase.
Liaise with Third Party agencies / Suppliers as required.

Job Challenges:

To work in accordance with the global BPMS and respond to instruction from Commercial Lead and Commercial Manager regarding work tasks and priorities
Ability to work to demanding deadlines and drive internal departments to meet key deliverables
Ability to manage conflicting demands and various tasks simultaneously
Domestic and foreign travel may be required.

Key Skills:

Possesses good commercial knowledge and cost awareness
Excellent professional communication skills both written and verbally
Possesses relevant computerskills (Microsoft office essential, SAP preferable)
Ability to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team or on their own.
Able to maintain good relationships while driving colleagues to meet key deliverables in a timely manner
Selfstarter who is motivated and displays a good level of autonomy.
A proactive individual who exercises considerable initiative, creativity and contribution.
Demonstrates excellent time management skills. Able to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
Capable of managing various tasks simultaneously.
