Our client, a market-leading creative agency that prides itself on being an exciting and rewarding place to work, are currently looking for a DevOps Manager to supplement a talented and growing DevOps Division.
This role will be hybrid, located either at the HQ in Hartlebury where the creative studios and filming is undertaken or Manchester once or twice a week.
The successful applicant will be the organisations very own DevOps superhero, your sidekicks on the Software Engineering team look to you to support them, all while you guide clients and project managers towards the best technical solutions.
Key experience:
- Leading a team of DevOps Engineers to deliver on those allimportant goals
- Consulting on client briefs and providing technical guidance on solutions to both clients and the team
- Managing activities and providing technical guidance on CI/CD solutions
- Maintaining environment stability for business continuity
- Assisting with incident management and capture
- Engaging and supporting development and test teams with DevOps workload
- Procuring new software/ tools to increase efficiency within the business, including security approval and lowlevel design documentation
- Supporting the Information Security Manager to ensure that policies are developed and implemented to support the ISO27001 Information Security Management System
Key Technologies / Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Git, GitLab, CI/CD, CloudFormation and Terraform, as well as agile methodologies
- Enviable CI experience, such as Pipelines or Code Deploy, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud computing AWS, Google Cloud and/or Azure
- Proficient in a common programming language (e.g., PHP)
- Oracle of security concepts such as best configuration practices, risk techniques, threat modelling, incident reporting, Infosec and ISO2700
- Linux and Command-Line Interfaces
