local authority in

Oxfordshire, to recruit an experienced

Internal Senior Auditor. If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,

Contract:
Permanent

Salary:
£35,336 - £38,553 per annum

Start Date:
April/May 2023

Shift Pattern: 37 hours / Full-time 9:00am - 17:00pm

DUTIES

Identifying areas where internal audit assurance is required and design the individual audit assignment plan.
To undertake riskbased assurance audits of strategic and operational risks.
Providing strategic advice to Directors and Senior Managers regarding Governance, Risk and Internal Control.
Making informed recommendations and negotiating effective management actions where material weakness in the system of internal control or governance exists.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
At least 2 years previous experience within a Senior Auditor role or equivalent.
Must hold a CCAB / CMIIA or CIA or significant equivalent experience.
Experience of undertaking more complex audits.
