    Are you an experienced administrator? We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Business Support Officer to join our Edge of Care Service Business Support Team.

    As a Business Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our administrative processes.

    Requirements:

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual, to provide both an efficient and effective Business Support Service.

    The role involves the following:

  • Reception cover
  • Undertaking a wide variety of administrative tasks
  • Prioritising workload
  • Note taking actions in meetings.
  • Collating Information
  • Problem Solving
  • Ordering Goods/Services and processing financial transactions.
  • The role is diverse, and you work closely with the wider service in a fast-paced environment as often the completion of tasks has very quick and require strict deadlines. Attention to detail is key in this role for the successful candidate.

    Applicants will need to possess a minimum 5 x GCSE (including in both English and Maths) or equivalent qualification and have proven experience in a similar administrative role.

    Have excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills, be motivated to work under pressure and in a confidential manner.

    Applicants will need to be familiar with using IT systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.

    Business Support Officers are required to be flexible in terms of area of work and location and need to be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

    You should have experience of working in a busy office environment with a good understanding of office processes and procedures, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    We are looking for a committed, passionate, enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who are confident in verbal and written communication. The service handles private and confidential information, so discretion and confidentiality are essential.

    If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.

    Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
