    Absolute Venues is recruiting for an experienced Meeting & Events Venue Finding Specialist - Account Manager - Could this be you ?

    About us :

    We are on of UK's leading Venue Finders, based in Hale Cheshire for over 20 years. We specialise in delivering Meetings, Conference's & Accommodation bookings, UK Europe & Worldwide.

    Due to our continued growth, we have a new opening and are looking for an experienced positive individual to further develop their career in the Events/ Conference sector and engage with like minded event professionals who are passionate about delivering successful events.

    The successful candidate will be required to provide an effective and proactive administrative function relating to all events and to efficiently collate our client requirements in order to deliver the highest levels of customer service. Ability to think outside the box and take ownership for all enquiries you are working on. We work on the Gratis / Venue Directory platform which training will be given if needed.

    As an experienced individual, ideally you will be from a Hotel / Conference & Events or Agency background. You will need to be able to work under pressure whilst demonstrating exceptional attention to detail. You will also need to be able to work on multiple event enquiries at the same time and prioritise your own time with a " can do attitude ".

    The applicant should be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, be highly motivated with excellent negotiation and communication skills along with excellent time management skills.

    You will work closely with our key client's , developing, nurturing and maintaining excellent relationships, which constantly exceeds our clients expectations at all times.

    Researching and obtaining quotations from Hotels & Venues, producing accurate client proposals, sourcing event locations throughout UK, Europe, Worldwide. Rate & commission ( key to this position) negotiations with hotels, & venues working to processes and time frames to deliver fully detailed proposals, being accountable and take ownership of the enquiries you are working on.

    The successful candidate will have impeccable organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people both inside and outside the organisation and enjoy working as part of a small team. You will be highly customer focused, and have an excellent command of English language both written and orally. This is an exciting opportunity for a pro-active candidate with a can-do attitude and outstanding attention to detail.

    Monday - Friday - Office based- Hale ( near Altrincham Cheshire )
