About The Role:

Are you a passionate ornithologist ready to take flight and help to revolutionise the renewable energy landscape? GoBe Consultants Ltd, part of the APEM group, are seeking an innovative Principal Ornithologist with a detailed understanding of our feathered friends and determination to make a soaring impact.

Join our team and lead on ground-breaking projects, delivering technical assessments to ensure an offshore renewables industry working in harmony with avian conservation.

About you

You will have an established track record in offshore renewables and seabird ecology, from a relevant career in consultancy, research or working for NGOs or government.

Detailed knowledge of offshore ornithological impact assessments and other, related technical studies (EIA/HRA, collision risk modelling, population viability assessment) is required, as well as experience working with and developing relationships with regulators and stakeholders.

You will also need excellent organisational and communication skills, with a professional manner and the ability to communicate to all levels.

You will also be ready to take on staff mentoring and management and be prepared to lead on projects.
