Provide full administrative support across 3 sites, supporting the HR Department in maintaining an effective, efficient service to all employees.

Represent company values of Teamwork, Quality, Honest and Passion. A desire to progress within the HR field and to complete a HR Apprenticeship starting September 2024.

Upon successful completion of the course, there may be an opportunity to remain with the business permanently dependent upon company status at the time.

You would complete administrative tasks across all aspects of the employee lifecycle including within HR systems and partner systems (benefit system, company app, health and safety system)

  • Attend key meetings including daily production meeting, adhoc employee briefs, Employee Forum meetings.
  • Complete daily and weekly reporting requirements
  • Compile Health and Safety data and actions
  • Complete health and safety checklists for first aid equipment
  • Support the closing out of actions from the Employee Forum
  • Support the HR department in conducting 6 monthly Agency Labour Audit using GLAA tool with each labour provider.
  • Cover payroll in the absence of the Payroll Administrator
  • Utilise Kronos TLM, HR, Performance and Talent modules to full capacity
  • Support employees with access issues to HR owned systems
  • Create and maintain good relationships with internal customers, promoting the opendoor policy and maintaining our noteworthy culture
  • Support HR Projects as directed by the HR Team internal communications, customer projects, annual staff survey, Stronger Together promotion initiatives, Wellbeing Week, charity days, awareness events and interactions with local schools
  • Case management support investigations, disciplinaries and grievances as and when required including the setup of meetings and administration of letters
  • Manage successful direct recruitment at all levels utilising staffing platform
  • Collate, create and share communications on the company app
  • Conduct HR Inductions for new employees
  • Actively challenge processes and thinking; suggest new ways of working including technical advances
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers; agencies, security and training providers.
  • Ensure HR effectively supports the business at all levels.
  • Uphold the confidentiality required to successfully work in a HR department
  • Cover reception on occasion where temporary cover cannot be sought / due to sickness absence

  • Ensure all HR data is always up to date, accurate and easily accessible
  • Ensure any payrolls covered are completed accurately
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times


Ensure all daily / weekly / monthly reports are generated and issued within agreed timescales detailing accurate information in a timely fashion.


  • QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Qualifications required to begin HR Apprenticeship at level 5; a GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in English and maths and be educated to level 3
