- Collaborate with IT Management to formulate the overall IT Programme Portfolio roadmap supporting digital transformation and separation.
- Lead and oversee IT digital roadmap projects to facilitate comprehensive transformation.
- Manage projects and programs from inception to transition into business as usual, encompassing the full project life cycle.
- Maintain and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
- Provide support and guidance to the business in achieving its goals, aligning new programs with the organization's strategic direction.
- Collaborate with the business to define project scope and benefits, lead resources, and ensure the timely delivery of programs.
- Establish and uphold program governance by engaging key stakeholders across IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and other relevant functions.
- Report on project outcomes at the project's conclusion and assess the delivery of benefits.
- Implement project and program management processes, including scope management, planning, change control, communications, RAID management, quality control, cost management, and procurement.
- Oversee the RFP (Request for Proposal) process for vendor and partner selection.
- Create project charters and manage the baseline of project and program scope.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines in collaboration with the broader project and program team.
- Ensure full integration of project plans across all delivery teams.
- Provide transparent feedback, status reports, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and Financial Trackers to the Portfolio to ensure adherence to project governance and best practices.
- Establish and adhere to a Project Governance structure, conducting regular meetings as agreed upon.
- Manage project execution with a focus on meeting time, budget, and required business outcomes.
- Implement integrated change control throughout the project and program.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers and colleagues across the business and the broader PMO (Project Management Office).
- Possess 5-8 years of Project Management experience within IT Infrastructure and Operations.
- Hold recognized Project Management qualifications.
- Demonstrate excellent commercial and stakeholder management skills.
- Exhibit strong communication and reporting skills.
- Display a deep understanding of business dynamics.
- Prove experience in managing multiple End-to-End Project Lifecycles.
- Successfully delivered projects/programs in the £1-2 million range on time and within budget.
- Show proficiency in various project delivery methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid.
- Apply both creative and pragmatic thinking to problem-solving.
- Possess a clear understanding of both functional and non-functional IT aspects.
- Work autonomously with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Project and PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools.
