- Act as the primary technical liaison between the supplier delivering the new network, and the University's network services team.
- Manage and oversee the activities of other technical project roles working on the network refresh.
- Ensure the needs and requirements of the wider IT teams are represented and delivered by the new network.
What you'll bring- Experience of leading teams of network engineers.
- Hands-on experience of delivering a network transformation project for an enterprise-scale environment.
- Awareness of cyber security and an understanding of how modern security standards need to be built into network designs.

About the Role
This is a key role in supporting the Network refresh project being carried out at the University of Southampton over the next 5 years. Following the approval of the network replacement project you will be joining a team of dedicated teams of specialists who are supporting the current systems and the replacement network.
