Description

Do you have experience working within manufacturing or working on a production line?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer / Technician with a well established manufacturing company based at their production site based in Gillingham.

This will be on a permanent basis, with full training on their machines and additionaldevelopment opportunities provided.

Main Purposes of Job

To set and maintain production machines to produce quality parts.
Conduct daily / weekly maintenance duties.
Work with production staff to resolve technical and setting issues within a manufacturing environment.
Excellent faultfinding ability and root cause analysis is a must.
Give constructive feedback to maintenance and factory management on production issues.
Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

We are looking for a logical thinker with sound mechanical understanding, with experience of machine setting and operation.

Salary:
£28 - £32k.

Holiday: 25 days + Statutory holidays.

Pension scheme:
Subject to successful completion of 3 month's probation period.

Working hours: 40hrs per week - Day shift only.
